“Yesterday’s Heritage, Tomorrow’s Culture” Annual Benefit Dinner

Cork Factory Hotel, 480 New Holland Avenue, Suite #3000, Lancaster, PA

Each year, Church World Service (CWS) of Lancaster’s “Yesterday’s Heritage, Tomorrow’s Culture” benefit raises money to serve and empower refugees who made Lancaster their new home. CWS works with partners to give hope, opportunity, and relief to the refugee and immigrant communities of Central Pennsylvania.  Each year, our organization assists over 350 refugees from across the world, and provides these services with the vision of promoting a diverse and welcoming community. The evening includes hors d’oeuvres and dinner, a silent auction, and attendees will have the opportunity to learn about ways they can positively impact their local refugee community through offering their time, support, and friendship.  Live jazz music will be provided by The Amy Banks Jazz Trio, featuring Tim Brey, piano, and Steve Meashey, bass. Tickets to the event are $50 per person.  To request an invitation for the event or to register, please contact Jackie at (717) 358-9341. Checks for tickets and/or donations should be made payable to Church World Service/Lancaster, and sent to CWS/Lancaster, 308 E King St, Lancaster, Pa 17602. If you are unable to attend, but would like to sponsor the cost of a ticket for a refugee or a person otherwise unable to attend, please contact Jackie at (717) 358-9341, or by email at jsahd@churchworldservice.org.
