The Clare House 10th Annual Jazz Fest!

Lancaster, PA (August 6, 2010)--Clare House, Inc. proudly presents its 10th annual JAZZ FEST on Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Marriott at Penn Square in Lancaster, PA. Doors open at 6:00PM. Ticket cost is $65.00 and sponsorship opportunities are also available. All proceeds from the event benefit Clare House homeless shelters for women and children. The event will feature entertainment by The Faux Minx and The Amy Banks Quartet (Chris Whittaker, keyboards, Tom Hilliker, bass and Jeff Stabley, drums,) dinner and a silent and live auction. Smooth Jazz 92.7 DJ Paul Scott will be the emcee for the evening. The event has been supported by many local businesses and individuals in the past. Donations for the silent and live auctions are being accepted; weekend get-aways, gift certificates to local restaurants and shops and numerous other items will be auctioned. The evening will also include the 2010 “Helping Hand” award presentation. The annual award is given to a local individual, business and Church who have demonstrated ongoing support through volunteerism, financial contributions and an overall dedication to the mission of Clare House. Clara House serves homeless women and children by providing a temporary home in a caring environment, life-skills programs and aftercare support leading to self-sufficiency and has been serving the community for twenty nine years.
