Introducing Central City Orchestra

Hi there, it's been so long...if you're reading this it might be a miracle!  Wanted to update you on some exciting news: My partner Katie Robinette and I have launched Central PA's newest and hottest non-stop party, Central City Orchestra! You can read all about us here: www.centralcityorchestra.com, or come out and party with us on Wednesday, June 21 from 7:00 - 10:00 as we host a FREE event, "Dance Naked Wednesdays" at Tellus360 in Lancaster!  Keep your clothes on, but dance uninhibited to popular dance music spanning the decades! Our 10-piece band includes 3 vocalists and 3 horns to drive the music and keep you on the dance floor. And we're available for private events, too! See what all the buzz is about at Tellus in June and July; or catch us "by surprise" at a popular party happening soon..... can't say more than that!

Next Saturday in Lebanon

Hi Gang,

Just a quick reminder that I'll be doing a set at the LEBANON JAZZ FEST this Saturday from 2:30 - 3:30 pm on the Main Stage.  It's been a few years since I was last there and I'm looking forward to seeing again the fabulous jazz fans that collect for an afternoon of fun, music and community. I'll be with the Steve Rudolph Trio.

Had a great time brushing off the cobwebs with Steve Rudolph, piano, Steve Meashey, bass and Larry Marshall, drums at the Long's Park Arts & Crafts Festival over Labor Day Weekend.  A great crowd, some HEAT and beautiful fine art and crafts were the best combination. Oh, ice cream and wine didn't hurt either.

See you soon!

Long's Park a Raging Success!

It's been a few weeks now, but I'm new at this blogging thing. Guess it should be a little more timely?

The Motown Love Story show beat the heat for a fantastic evening in the park. Thanks to all who tolerated the heat and came out for a great time.

Personnel on the evening included Elliot Garland, bass and MD; Joe Baldacci, drums; Marc Kaplan, keys; Mike Yinger, guitar, trombone, vocals; Stan Slotter, trumpet and flute; Brian Saunders, tenor sax; Kyleen Shaw, Cara Clase and Joey Holland-Garcia on vocals.

The feedback we received was incredible, and Long's Park boasted their highest Saturday night attendance around 750. There were so many people I missed saying hello to, but know I appreciate each and everyone of you.

I also appreciate the great photos shared of that evening on Facebook by Dan Gillespie, Mike Zeck and others. I'll include a few in the gallery.

Thanks for the memories. Knowing you were entertained makes me feel like a million bucks. My work here is done!

xoxo, A

Sent out a nice little email newsletter and my video disappeared!  Maybe I can add it here?  Hope to see you at Long's Park on Saturday!

Hi, and Welcome to My New Website!

It's only been five years, but I've finally migrated the website to a new platform – streamlined and to the point, and formatted for all devices! Welcome me to the 21st century, please!

Engagements are extremely limited, but I'll continue to make updates and whatnot as appropriate, so if you're not on the email list, please sign up.

I'll also use this space to post anything that seems share-worthy....

Thanks for sticking with me this far.  Keep in touch!

Best,

Amy
